KZA have employed the services of Mr Ljubodrag Grujic, the national state heraldic artist of Serbia. He has created this wonderful professional corporate logo for KZA. The seven thistles represent the seven notes of the diatonic scale. The bodhran looks to my Irish ancestry and the bears to my Nordic roots. The bluethroat bird is taken from my family crest and is known for its varied tunes. The trombone reflects my position as a Licentiate of London College of Music.

Welcome to our blog! |
KZA is one of few specialist music services within the Teesside area offering artists that specialise in 'vintage' style music. We do contemporary too but that is not our specialism! We intend to use this blog to keep our friends, musicians and clients up to date with our latest events.
We operate from the third floor of the Multi Media Exchange here in Middlesbrough and are always happy to hear from any wanting to discuss a potential booking.
Today (31st August), KZA supported Middlesbrough Council's 10K Road Race with a four piece trad jazz band. The music for this event was specifically hot jazz from the 1920's & 30's (Think Charleston, Five Foot Two, Georgia Camp Meeting). The band featured- Laird James Madrell of Dunans on soprano saxophone, Steve Roberts on tuba, Kevin Eland on trumpet and Leonard Wilson on banjo.
